Carbonyl sulfide measurements in Siikaneva fen

Carbonyl sulfide flux measurements were started in Siikaneva wetland.

Carbonyl sulfide (COS) flux measurements were started in Siikaneva fen site in May 2019. Siikaneva fen is located approximately 10 km from the Hyytiälä SMEAR II forest station in Southern Finland. Siikaneva fen is an ICOS level 2 ecosystem station and carries a long record of carbon dioxide and methane flux measurements. This summer we are measuring COS fluxes at the station with eddy covariance and chamber techniques.

This is the first time COS fluxes are measured directly at a boreal fen site and we are exited of the coming results!
