Oikos Finland meeting Helsinki


Oikos Finland aims to bring together researchers working on questions related to ecology and evolutionary biology in a conference organized every second year in Finland.

The meeting will feature general sessions as well as parallel themed sessions. The meeting also hosts a panel discussion on “Is science ready – what have we learned during the past 100 years” representing different stakeholders.

As invited plenary speakers we have:
Maarja Öpik (Tartu University, Estonia)
Janne Kotiaho (University of Jyväskylä, Finland)
Virpi Lummaa (University of Turku, Finland)
Eline Lorenzen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark)

The meeting will start with get-together party at the Museum of Natural History on Monday 30th of January at 18.00.
