We study the phenomena of visual culture, arts and skills in education, teaching and learning. We approach this area of education from the perspectives of both individual subjects and integrative pedagogy. We reflect on the special nature of learning connected to visual culture, arts and skills in various contexts of education. As researchers, we collaborate in many combinations, applying e.g. methodology of qualitative research, action research, developmental work research, artistic research and cultural research. The group includes researchers from the fields of visual arts, crafts, music and drama.
