Four materials developed by our group has been patented and now commercialized by Fortum OYJ (CsTreat, SrTreat, CoTreat and SbTreat trademarks). These highly selective, 100% inorganic materials have found some 50 to 60 end users, mainly nuclear power plants. The commercial use of these materials was started at Loviisa nuclear power plant in 1991 while the biggest and still ongoing operation is at the Fukushima disaster area.
