Tipping Point: Critical sustainabilities

Welcome to this event 30.9.2025
Unconference and workshop to discuss critical sustainabilities and find new connections and even alliances for action.

Postdoctoral researcher Ayonghe Akonwi is co-organizing this exciting event, the Critical sustainabilities, Tipping Point event.

This event will be adressing the following questions: How can we build community and organize in the midst of sustainability crises? What are the most promising alternatives to the dominant sustainability transition discourses, and how can we create a deeper understanding of how these discourses are put into practice? What are the areas or fields where radical change is needed? What are your visions of possible post-fossil and post-capitalist futures or alternative sustainabilities? What makes the change possible? How do we build a strategic network and mobilize others? You can participate by preparing a presentation of up to ten minutes to share your ideas, joining open space workshops to connect with other interested people, or simply attending for fun! We welcome academics, artists, NGOs, social movements, and anyone interested in participating in discussions about critical sustainabilities.
