In this project with Olli Vapalahti's team, we screen for SARS-CoV-2 specific antibody producing B-cells from recovered COVID-19 patients, using FACS sorting and single cell sequencing of antigen specific cells.
The found immunoglobuling heavy and light chain genes are then cloned in to vectors and produced as monoclonal antibodies in the fast track CHO system of Ville Paavilainen's team.
