Two ESB members, doctoral researchers Nora Bergman and Patrick Heidbreder, attended the Evomics 2024 workshop on Genomics. The workshop takes place each year in in Český Krumlov, Czech Republic where participants from across the globe learn how to handle and analyse genomic data. Nora uses RADseq genomic data to understand the historic range expansion of the common reed warbler. Patrick studies speciation and hybridization genomics, using whole genome resequencing data to study hybrid genome evolution.
