This May we saw Jack Beresford submit his thesis for pre-examination! Jack has been a PhD with the team since the end of 2016, and has been studying hybridizing wood ants with Jonna Kulmuni - as Jonna's first PhD student. Jack's thesis has been concerned with studying hybrid ants using bioinformatics, gene expression, mating behaviour and population genetics approaches. Congratulations again Jack!
