Laura has been awarded a Una Europa mobility grant to support a research visit to Leiden University, where Assistant Professor Tuomas Aivelo hosted her. During the mobility period, Laura focused on developing her postdoctoral research plan, drawing on Leiden’s strong expertise and the collaborative opportunities within Tuomas’s group. Laura was there for eight days at the end of April 2026. During the visit, Laura also visited Naturalis and other museums in Leiden, which is known as the Museum Capital of the Netherlands.
Gloria received a grant from Societas pro Fauna et Flora Fennica and from the Lammi Biological Station to support her field season and data collection. during the summer of 2026, she collected data from a wild population of pied flycatchers, recording provisioning rates and mobbing efforts of the parents.
