The field of the position is environmental economics. The duties of the position include developing the theory and applications of environmental economics. The appointee will be responsible for developing the teaching on undergraduate (Environmental and Food Economics programme YET), postgraduate (Agricultural, Environmental and Resource Economics programme AGERE) and PhD levels. Further, active public outreach and cooperation with stakeholders is required.
We are seeking applicants that in particular focus their research, teaching and outreach on climate change mitigation and adaptation, climate policies and biodiversity protection. Although the field of the position is environmental economics, the methods and approaches of renewable resources economics are relevant to take into account (e.g. carbon sinks in forest and agricultural land).
