My research subject is the role of forests in the European Union’s climate policy. I am an undergraduate student of environmental and natural resource economics. Currently’ I am writing my bachelor thesis as part of Economic-Ecological Optimization Group. In my thesis I will go through the accounting rules for the forest carbon sinks in the European Union and examine how the rules are implemented in to the Finnish forestry policy.
