The transdisciplinary research initiative DIVSOL at the University of Helsinki focuses on ethnic, cultural, linguistic, religious, and socio-ecological diversity. The researchers come from the Faculties of Arts, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Educational Sciences, Law, Science, Social Sciences, Theology, and the Swedish School of Social Science, as well as the Helsinki Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities (HSSH).
Naturally, we were excited to attend an event that provided valuable opportunities to engage with other research initiatives sharing similar objectives of integrating diverse viewpoints to explore socio-ecological sustainability.
The event consisted of two poster sessions, complemented by presentations that offered a variety of perspectives on diversity. Our poster is featured below. The posters of other research projects are available at DIVSOL's website:
We warmly thank the DIVSOL team for the invitation and for organizing such an inspiring event! And we look forward to future opportunities to continue the dialogue and collaboration within this vibrant research community.
