The webinar will host two keynote speakers from Denmark and Finland.
The first keynote speaker is Emma Christine Ellesen from Aalborg University. Her presentation explores field research experiences with a group of elderly refugee and migrant men, focusing on conflicts and power dynamics within the group, and the process of fostering reflexive dialogue with the participants.
The second keynote speaker is Marko Kananen from the Finnish Center for Integrity in Sports – FINCIS. He will address challenges of fieldwork in studying migrant background players in a youth football team.
The event concludes with a discussion on the key insights from the presentations, their consequences for research, and best practices.
