CENS PhD candidate Jana Lainto successfully defended her doctoral thesis, Scandinavian Horizons: Arnošt Vilém Kraus and Czech-Scandinavian Cultural Transfers at the Turn of the Twentieth Century, at the University of Helsinki on 13 December. Associate Professor Peter Bugge (Aarhus University) acted as opponent.
