Evaluating intervention reception and the path toward successful lifestyle change: Qualitative longitudinal study

This qualitative process evaluation study is part of a larger clinical trial.

The process evaluation seeks to assess and gain insight into the complex process of successful lifestyle change. It will explore reception of a lifestyle change intervention by employing qualitative methods to investigate critical incidents and turning points on the path toward successful lifestyle change, and focuses on various self-regulation strategies as means to overcome the challenges. Qualitative investigation of participants’ experiences of their lifestyle change generates rich data about individual perspectives and allow identifying views and critical turning points. The project takes place in 2020-21.
