Solar energy field - Combining sustainable crop production and energy production

In the Solar energy field project, we are developing solutions to enable agrivoltaics (APV) in Finnish agriculture. Our work includes monitoring and measuring crop growth and solar energy production under authentic Finnish field conditions, and creating a simulation tool to support the design and optimization of APV systems. We foster collaboration across research institutions, farmers, and industry partners.
