Tailored training
We offer tailored training workshops for researchers, research groups, and research projects. Our theme-based workshops focus specifically on the documentation of research data, as well as the sharing and preservation of data and other research outputs. We can also include other topics in the training sessions as needed.
What kinds of workshops have we organised?
- Organising and describing research data
A two-hour workshop was held on campus, covering topics ranging from folder naming conventions to various documentation methods.
- Publishing, archiving, and describing research data
A three-hour training session was organised as part of the unit’s training days. We familiarised researchers with the requirements for publishing and archiving data (e.g., what to consider when informing research participants, in consent forms, and in privacy notices), and we provided guidance on selecting an appropriate repository or archive and describing the data. At the end of the training, the researchers described their data in Data catalogue.
