Tvärminne Zoological Station (TZS) is a marine station located at the entrance to the Gulf of Finland. It is one of three biological research stations belonging to the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Helsinki. The stations serve as centres for a large variety of high-quality biological research and offer facilities for field courses and seminars.
TZS is open all year round and we welcome visiting scientists to conduct their research at TZS.
