Viikki Research Farm Science Trail
The Viikki Research Farm is the University of Helsinki’s agricultural farm, where research focuses on farming and its environmental impact. Along the science trail, you'll learn where food comes from and how it can be produced sustainably. You'll find information about crops, soil, and cattle care. The trail also takes you through the Viikki Arboretum, home to a wide variety of trees and shrubs.
Although the science trail is located in Viikki, the facts and materials it presents are relevant throughout Finland and can be applied more broadly.
