Math Buzz Training Tour

The Math Buzz Training Tours bring free professional development opportunities closer to early childhood education professionals! During the tours, we share research-based knowledge about the importance of mathematics in early childhood and provide practical strategies that adults can use to support children's learning and skill development in everyday situations.

During the 2026 Early Childhood Education Training Tour, we will explore mathematics through movement and play. Participants will engage with early mathematical and motor skills, learn about their importance for children's holistic development, and discover how mathematics can be naturally integrated into everyday moments.

Movement with Early Numeracy Online Training for ECEC Teachers and Special Education Teachers 2026

We offer a nationwide online training course on the Movement with Early Numeracy programme, a research-based intervention developed within the project that includes structured activities for practising early mathematical and motor skills. Participants will gain a practical tool and valuable insights that can be applied immediately in their own work.

Who is it for?
The training is designed for early childhood education teachers and special education teachers. It also provides useful knowledge and ideas for municipal professional development trainers.

Mathematics Through Movement and Play for ECEC Childcarers and Assistants: Math Buzz Training Tour 2026

The Math Buzz Bugs are going on tour! Our Mathematics Through Movement and Play training days will spread inspiration and new ideas across Finland in two languages. The tour will visit seven locations in Finnish and one location in Swedish. Follow our journey to see where we will stop next!
