Online event to launch the Democratic Education Needs Imagination initiative final report on the need to rethink democratic education as a tool for violence prevention and social cohesion, for which you can register here.
The global launch will take place online on Thursday 12th May, 10 am EDT/ 2pm GMT+1 (5 PM EET). It will feature a discussion between some of the education experts who were part of this initiative, including Olga Lúcia Zárate Mantilla(Ministry of Education, Colombia), Tuija Kasa (University of Helsinki, Finland), Vachararutai Jan Boontinand (Mahidol University, Thailand) and Fernande Raine (History Co:Lab, USA). Q+A with audience will follow.
Interpretation in English and Spanish will be available throughout the event.
