Antti Pirinen is University Lecturer in Spatial and Service Design at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. His research and teaching is focused on human-centred and collaborative design in the context of housing, the living environment and related services. He is also interested in the expansion of the scope of design in society, including the adoption of design approaches in urban governance and service development. In his work, he aims at contributing to a human-centred living environment where spaces, products, technologies and services conjoin to enable a better everyday. Originally an interior architect, he has received a doctorate of arts in design from Aalto University.
