Vuokko Heikinheimo

Vuokko Heikinheimo is a PhD candidate in geoinformatics interested in user-generated spatial data such as geotagged social media and crowdsourced maps. Vuokko is currently working on her PhD thesis in the Social Media Data for Conservation Science –project at the Digital Geography Lab. Vuokko also participates in teaching and planning advanced courses in geoinformatics (Geo-Python, Automating GIS Processes, Advanced Geoinformatics, GIS in Society, Open GIS & Spatial Data Infrastructures).
