How to apply

Here is your roadmap to the application process. As soon as possible, you should make sure that you satisfy the language requirements and that you have collected and authorized your application documents. When the application period starts, complete your registration on portal and fill in the application. Submit all items in time to meet the deadline.

Ap­plic­a­tion pro­cess

The next application period to apply for the Master's Programmes opens in December 3rd 2018 and ends in January 11th 2019 for studies starting in August 2019.

The University of Helsinki has one intake of students per year for the Master's (graduate) level.

Tu­ition fees

Citizens of non-EU/EEA countries, who do not have a permanent residence status in the area, are liable to these fees. Schol­ar­ships Tuition fee for Master's Programme in Agricultural, Environmental, Resource economics (for non-EU/EEA students) is 15 000 EUR per year

With the introduction of fees, the University of Helsinki offers scholarships to students coming from non-EU/EEA countries. These scholarships can be awarded also to students in their second year of Master’s studies. Funding options will range from full scholarships to partial and cost-of-living grants.

To apply for University of Helsinki scholarships you must first apply for one of University's Master's programmes. Remember that the application deadline for both programmes and scholarships is the same.
