The project researches applicability of future-oriented market research in the context of forest-based industries. The aim is to understand the existing uses and needs of foresight in the context of the forest-based industry, management and decision making and address these needs by exploring appropriate foresight approaches for companies, and especially in the context of SMEs.

The project is funded by Metsämiesten Säätiö. The project also involves post-doc researcher Elias Hurmekoski and Prof. Anne Toppinen.
