Prof. Santos' post-doc, Dr. Mohammad-Ali Shahbazi, awarded the USERN Prize 2020

The USERN prize is an international award, established by the USERN, which would be annually bestowed to junior scientists or researchers less than 40 years of age for any novel advancement or achievement in scientific education, research, or serving the humanity in five scientific fields including Formal Sciences, Physical-Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Prof. Santos' comment he is very proud, pleased and delighted to announce that his postdoc, Dr. Mohammad-Ali Shahbazi, was selected as the USERN Laureate 2020 among over 14,000 eligible candidates nominated for this prize. Many congrats Ali, we are super proud of you and very well deserved prize!

Dr. Shahbazi has several international awards, 80+ publications in highly prestigious journals, and close collaboration with top young researchers around the worlds to achieve his big goals in science by making an impact in the wellbeing of people in future.

The International Festivals for Awarding USERN prize have been held on November 10th and the prize was bestowed in the World Science Day for Peace and Development (November 10th, 2020).

The award was given in hand by the Ambassador of Finland to Iran Keijo Norvanto.
