Elisa Vainio will defend her doctoral thesis "The contributions of soil, ground vegetation and trees to the methane exchange of boreal forest" on Friday 27 September in auditorium B1 (Latokartanonkaari 7, Helsinki) at 12 o'clock.
The opponent will be Professor Ülo Mander from the University of Tartu, Estonia, and the custos will be Professor Atte Korhola from the University of Helsinki.
