On 1 September 2019, Dr Tanja Säily was appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor in English language at the Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki. She will continue her research in the fields of historical sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics and the digital humanities, and will also teach courses in these areas.
