Helsinki University Museum is preparing for large-scale projects in 2019. The museum’s offices and part of the library will be moved to new premises due to renovation of the University Main Building. Part of the museum’s collections will also be transferred to new premises. Hence, the University Museum’s Collections Services (collection loans, photo service, information and library service, item research etc.) will be closed as of December 14 2018. Loans and other collections services already agreed upon will be handled as per usual.
The Helsinki University Museum’s permanent main exhibition and the Helsinki Observatory visitor centre will be open normally in 2019.
