AMME Seminar on Islamic Philosophy and Intellectual History (Helsinki, 30th October)
Second meeting of this autumn of the Ancient and Medieval Middle East (AMME) seminar will be held on 30th October. Jari Kaukua (University of Jyväskylä) will give a talk with the title “Empiricism in Islamic Philosophy?” and Nathan Spannaus (University of Jyväskylä) with the title “Change and Periodization in Islamic Intellectual History”.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday 30th October at 4:15–6 pm in the faculty hall of the Faculty of Theology (Fabianinkatu 24, room 524, access from the inner courtyard of Vuorikatu 3).
Coffee and buns will be served.
