Humanities of Tomorrow seminar on October 12th, from 10pm to 4pm

What will the future bring for humanities? Will digitalisation swipe us away for good, and how will education in the Faculty of Artsthe Faculty of Arts’ education respond to changes in the surrounding world? Is interdisciplinarity an opportunity or a threat?

Today’s students are the builders of tomorrow’s humanities. This is why the faculty organisation Humanisticum will celebrate its 50th anniversary by organising a future-oriented seminar with the title Humanities of Tomorrow. The seminar is open to everyone and it is held on October 12th from 10AM to 4PM at Porthania’s room PII.

The programme includes many inspiring, thought-provoking and even critical presentations, panel discussions, and thoughts on some key issues for the humanities of the future:
