We started to move in beginning of 2017, but we decided to celebrate once the mammalian cell culture (laminar flow cabinet & CO2 incubator) would became functional. That has taken the surprisingly long time of 5 months since a wall needed to be constructed to separate the mammalian from bacterial cell culture. Apparently, Biomedicum's construction crew was heavily backlogged this spring. Even though we have now three times as much space as before in the 5th floor, we have also three times as many people as before.
