Faculty of Pharmacy becomes a part of a Nordic personalised medication project

Nordic Patient oriented products (Nordic POP) project has received funding of approximately eur 4.7 million.

The Faculty of Pharmacy is among the units participating in the Nordic POP, Nordic Patient oriented products project. The project is aiming at providing the scientific foundation for the next generation pharmaceutical products. It strengthens the use of interdisciplinary approaches within Nordic pharmaceutical sciences.

Nordic POP, with its ten collaborationg universities, has received approximately eur 4.7 million funding for six years from the NordForsk, an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The project is lead by the University of Copenhagen, and the Finnish part is coordinated by University Lecturer Leena Peltonen. The kick-off meeting will be held in Denmark on 28 January 2018.
