The 18th volume of the Studies in Variation, Contacts and Change in English eSeries, titled Exploring Recent Diachrony: Corpus Studies of Lexicogrammar and Language Practices in Late Modern English, has been published. Edited by Sebastian Hoffmann, Andrea Sand and Sabine Arndt-Lappe from the University of Trier, it deals with language change in or since the Late Modern English period, with a focus on the 19th century as well as methodological issues.
