DigIT research group at the WORK2019 conference

Postdoctoral researcher Liubov Vetoshkina and doctoral student Minna Vasarainen presented their papers at the WORK2019 Conference.

WORK2019 CONFERENCE (The 4th International Interdisciplinary Conference on Research on Work and Working Life) took place on 14-16 August 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. The WORK2019 theme was ‘Real Work in the Virtual World’ .

Liubov Vetoshkina's presentation "What is University? Expansion and transformation of academic work" focused on preliminary results from her postdoctoral research project "Transformation of Academic Work (TRAW)". 

Minna Vasarainen' s presentation "Approaches to studying uses of virtual reality technologies in working life" is a part of her doctoral thesis on uses of XR (extended reality) and valuation.
