AI Scholar is building an AI-powered learning platform that integrates ADHD detection with personalised education.

AI Scholar took part in the Pathways 2 pre-incubator.

2. Apila

Members: Joonas Mielikäinen, Linus Broms, Timo Hämäläinen, Peter Caselius

Apila streamlines device lifecycle management, tracking them from order to end-of-life to prevent losses and ensure readiness for new users.

4. DeepCap Protocol

Members: Denis Lapin, Irving Wang

DeepCap Protocol is building a platform that converts patents into liquid, tradable digital assets through tokenisation.

5. Gudy

Members: Karthick TM, Laura Moreno, Polina Korchagina, Lucia Mantilla de los Rios

Gudy is working on an app that lets users design cakes and dishes with customisable bases, toppings, and more using AR, AI, and real-time data for a fun, easy experience.

6. Haku-Sci

Haku-Sci enables real-time collaboration on research with AI search, version tracking, and open-access sharing.

7. Lotus Sirius

Polar Orbital offers a mobile, secure, and scalable ground segment solution with AI-powered analysis, designed for commercial and defense sectors with flexibility, cybersecurity, and resilience.

VIRE is an AI-powered device that analyses your breath to detect gut health issues in real time, offering a non-invasive, more accurate, and engaging way to monitor and improve gut health.

Zipli is an AI-powered B2B platform that connects large-scale food providers with receivers to efficiently redistribute surplus food and reducing waste

1. SproutKit

Members: Daria Martynova, Mirka Kakkonen

SproutKit is an innovative microgreens growing kit for kids, the elderly, and disabled individuals in northern countries. It allows year-round indoor growing without soil or much light, promoting health, education, and sustainability. SproutKit reduces loneliness, fosters mindfulness, and supports vulnerable groups through a non-profit segment.

2. ARTIVISTS

Members: Sarah Tonani P.C. Ribeiro, Sara Rostam Shirazi, Emad Farani, Eleni Ilia, Amin Labbafi

Do you, as an immigrant, feel detached from local culture and people? Or do you, as a Finn, crave to know people from different places and their cultural practices? Kaikki Café seeks to bridge the gap between immigrants and Finnish people living in Helsinki by promoting cultural and social integration trough arts, crafts and cuisine. By offering a cozy environment focused on human connection and new forms of entertainment, we hope to help people broaden their horizons and make Helsinki a more arts supporting and culturally rich city.   

3. EduExpert Consulting

EduXpert Consulting seeks to connect international students with Finnish higher education institutions, providing expert guidance to students and their family members while promoting integration and social participation.

4. G Creative Labs

Members: Petter Korkman, Sakari Heiskanen

G Creative Wellbeing Labs addresses key workplace challenges, such as decreased employee engagement, siloed teams, stress, burnout, and missed opportunities for innovation by using tailored songwriting workshops to enhance team dynamics, foster creativity, and promote wellbeing.

5. GreenWish

Members: Pinja Valja, Senja Kuure, Heikka Valja

GreenWish seeks to make carbon offsetting easy and rewarding. Using AI, their solution calculates a user's carbon footprint from images and lets them offset it with one click. Integrated with social media, GreenWish makes their efforts visible, giving them recognition for taking climate action. GreenWish's aim is to normalise climate responsibility as a social value.

6. LingoXR

Members: Tania Rodriguez, Ukko Kaarto

LingoXR is building a powerful tool for early-stage language acquisition, democratizing VR experiences for anyone with a smartphone. It engages learners by tapping into their interests and presenting them questions about Finnish vocabulary.

7. MM Research & Analytic Solutions

Members: Larisa Shpakovskaya, Marianna Muravyeva, Yuliya Brin

MM Research & Analytic Solutions helps businesses and NGOs create fairer workplaces and meet gender-related requirements in daily operations and project funding.

8. Team Kawaii

Members: Yan Kawai, Li Lin

Team Kawaii is building a cultural and art education center in Helsinki dedicated to nurturing children's creativity, offering comprehensive language courses for school-aged children and masterclasses in music and art during the holidays.

Edilm is working to reduce the use of single-use plastics in food packaging through the introduction of a sodium alginate material derived from brown algae.

2. GreenOnBoard

Members: Omar Al-Jaghbeer, Tareq Hussein, Mohammad Al-Zeer, Martha Zaidan

GreenOnBoard is building a dual-energy system alternating between generators and batteries for busses and trucks that uses AI to optimise and predict electricity demand levels.

Alessa is creating an edible dip cup crafted from food industry side streams to reduce waste at multiple stages of the foodservice value chain.

4. BioDiato Defense

Members: Reza Sadeghi, Mohieddin Jafari

BioDiato Defense is developing both treatments and prophylactics through the use of extracellular polymeric substances produced by diatoms found in water sources.

5. Biomalja

Biomalja is developing a 100% compostable mycelium bin that is leak-proof, odour-free, and stylish.

6. Polylab

Members: Mina Zare-Lahti, Mohammad Al-Zeer

Polylab is developing NIR labelling of polymers for tagging, tracing, sorting, and recycling plastics.

7. UseAway

Members: Matilda Launonen, Alexander Elikhin, Alexandre Kallio, Kalle Niemi, Ilya Kapustin

UseAway is developing circular single-use products, starting with a mycelium based disposable food tray.

8. Paahde

Paahde is transforming coffee farming by providing mobile automated coffee roasting containers that operate without fossil fuels.
