“Opening another call for the social impact incubator programme TREMOR is truly great news for social enterprises, since the UN just recently adopted a resolution on social and solidarity economy. We are so excited to be part of facilitating this in the University of Helsinki!” says the project lead of TREMOR, Minttu Ripatti, excitedly.
Selected teams will have various Finnish and international professionals giving them personalised guidance throughout the duration of the incubation period. In addition to mentoring, participants will take part in weekly in-person sessions of co-working and peer support opportunities as well as expert-led workshops. After finetuning based on feedback from the first batch’s teams, the workshops will be even more tailored to participants’ needs, covering a variety of relevant entrepreneurial issues and skills. As with all other Helsinki Incubators programmes, TREMOR will be held in English and will be free of charge.
For those interested in finding out more about TREMOR and the social impact potential of entrepreneurship, the Helsinki Incubators team will be organising an info session on 24 May at 16:00. The session will be held at the Incubators’ event space in the city centre, Vuorikatu 3.
The session will include an introduction to TREMOR, as well as presentations from TREMOR alumni
Teams with well-defined impactful solutions for societal, educational, communal, or legal issues are invited to apply by 2 June! By the time the programme starts, teams should include at least two individuals. Applicants may be affiliated with the university (that is, students, researchers, alumni, or staff) or residents of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Come shake up the societal status quo –
