Innovative Solutions in Deep Tech, AI & Sustainability are Invited to Apply to the 2nd Round of NEXUS

After a successful first run, the mentor-driven 6-month incubator for solutions in Deep Tech, AI, and sustainability returns to help innovators pave the way to a brighter future.

The Helsinki Incubators team is proud to open the call for the second round of the University of Helsinki’s NEXUS incubator programme. Powered by the city of Helsinki, the goal of the programme is to provide a platform for motivated researchers, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on learning the relevant skills and making the necessary connections to maximise the potential of their solutions, and scale towards international markets.

The backbone of the programme will be a carefully curated network of mentors and corporate partners representing key industries. Each team will be matched with mentors whose personalised guidance and support they will get to rely on throughout the programme and beyond. In addition to mentor meetings, participants will attend weekly in-person workshops, lectures, and other events where relevant topics will be covered in-depth. These sessions will also act as opportunities for teams to connect, co-work, and collaborate with each other – a valuable part of building community and motivation.

Project manager Andrès Archila is excited get back to helping people develop ideas into viable businesses: “I am excited to provide our teams with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to succeed. I am also looking forward to working with a diverse group of individuals and learning from their unique experiences and perspectives. Watching our teams grow and develop their businesses is incredibly rewarding to me, and it motivates me to continue providing the best possible support.”
