3 open events on social entrepreneurship being held during SÄRÖ/FRACTURE

Interested in social entrepreneurship? Come learn the basics of turning your idea into a flourishing socially impactful business in a series of open events!

This autumn, Helsinki Incubators, with its partners Helsinki Think Company and YYO (The Centre of Expertise for Social Enterprises), are organising three open events on social entrepreneurship. Held in conjunction with the social impact-themed SÄRÖ/FRACTURE pre-incubator programme, the sessions are open to anyone interested in creating a socially impactful business.

Inspiring Business Stories and Backcasting

Thursday, October 10th, 5–7 pm

You’ll hear inspiring stories on sustainable business from the best experts – the entrepreneurs themselves. You’ll get an insight into how to develop your socially impactful idea into a business, how to define a desirable outcome and what kind of steps are needed to get there.

Types of Business & Founding a Social Enterprise

Tuesday, October 18th, 5–7 pm

Experts present different kinds of business models for social entrepreneurship. You’ll learn which business model is the best fit for your business idea and what should be taken into account when starting a social enterprise.

How to Scale Up Social Innovations

Tuesday, November 15th, 5–7 pm

Experts explain how to scale up socially impactful products or services – in other words, how to offer your product/service to a larger group of customers without costly investments. You’ll learn how you can grow your sustainable business into a flourishing social enterprise.
