Summer 2019, Finnish for Foreigners courses

Registration starts on 2 April at 10.

  • Courses for beginners: Suomi 1 in June, July and August (FULL)
  • Course Finnish for false beginners in August–September (FULL)
  • Basic level courses: Suomi 2 in July and August (FULL), and Suomi 3 in June and August
  • Intermediate level courses: Suomi 4 in July (FULL), and Suomi 5 in August

Suomi 1—5 courses have a total of 48 lessons (4 credits) each, meeting four times a week, and they require a minimum of 70 hours of independent work. Thus the workload per week is almost 30 hours, including the lessons and time for self study.

The course Finnish for false beginners has 16 lessons (1 credit), requiring over 20 hours of independent work.
