The University of Helsinki offers extensive and modern IT services for the most common needs of the students, researchers, teachers, and other staff. In addition, researchers are offered a set of services designed to support research, the most important of which are saving and information sharing services, as well as customised IT solutions.

Helpdesk

Printing services

Unigrafia is in charge of printing at the University of Helsinki. Students are offered a free-of-charge basic printing service and a more diverse service subject to a fee. The units provide their staff with printing services.

Unix service

STU RES TEA OSU
In addition to Windows workstations, Unix can be used at the university with an SSH connection. Teaching and research applications have been installed on the Unix and Linux computers of the Unix environment. The separately acquired Unix access rights also include personal Unix storage space.

Personal storage space

The university offers all students and employees of the university their own storage space on the network drive.
