3I Marianas (3I intelligent Imaging Innovations) is a fluorescence microscope designed for imaging live cells with multiple colours and techiques. Available imaging techniques are wide-field, TIRF and spinning disk confocal. There are nine light sources (5 LEDs and 4 lasers) and fast switching times between imaging techniques and light sources so that one can make almost any combination of videos. Additionally it is possible to do photomanipulation experiments (FRAP an photo activation) . Microscope has a motorised stage which can be utilized for multiposition imaging or image plates.

Leica TCS SP5 is an partially motorized upright point scanning confocal microscope. It can be used to acquire 3D images from cell or tissue samples or individual images from given focal plane without distortions from unfocused signal. You can also aqcuire cross section images. Microscope is not equipped with incubation chamber.

SP5II HCS is a fully motorized inverted point scanning confocal. It is especially good for high resolution imaging for live samples without blur from out of focus signal. Scanner has two extra sensitive low noice detectors for dim samples and faster imaging.

Microscope has a motorised stage for multipoint or tile imaging and the system has a Leica Matrix software for high content imaging from plates. You can also aqcuire cross section images.

Multiphoton

Leica TCS SP5 MP, an upright (objectives are above the sample) confocal microscope with tunable multiphoton laser.  It can be used to acquire 3D images from cell or tissue samples or individual images from given focal plane without distortions from unfocused signal. You can also aqcuire cross section images from your samples. 

Multiphoton laser can be used to reach deep into tissue samples or alternatively to generate second harmonic images from suitable structures. Microscope is also equipped for live imaging.

FLIM and Fluorescence (cross-)correlation spectroscopy

Microscope is equipped with sensitive SPAD detectors and photon counting system allowing fluoresence lifetime (FLIM) imaging as well as fluoresence cross correlation spectroscopy (FCS). These techniques are primarly used to study protein interactions in cells.

Leica TCS SP8 STED 3X CW 3D is an inverted confocal microscope equipped with motorized stage.  It can be used to acquire 3D images from cell or tissue samples or individual images from given focal plane without distortions from unfocused signal. You can also aqcuire cross section images.  Motorized stage can be used to acquire timelapse images from multiple locations as the system's in-built autofocus ensures that your sample stays in focus for the duration of your experiment. The microscope is equipped for live imaging. 

STED

The system can be used to aqcuire super-resolution images using the 592 nm depletion laser using the 93x glycerol objective.  One color STED is possible with almost any green color, but two color imaging requires very specific dyes to work.

LSM 700 is a basic upright laser scanning confocal microscope. It can be used to acquire 3D images from cell or tissue samples or individual images from given focal plane without distortions from unfocused signal. Microscope has a motorised stage which allows you to combine images together with tile imaging to take an image of a large area.  The microscope is equipped for live imaging. The system has no transmitted light detector so bright field images cannot be aqcuired.
