Services, guidelines and fees

Biocenter Flow Cytometry Unit provides flow cytometry analysis services as well as flow cytometry training and education for new users. To offer the best service for our university-associated and external researchers, we have integrated with Biomedicum Flow Cytometry and Viikki Sorting Flow Cytometry Units and we are part of HiLIFE Helsinki Institute of Life Science, Flow Cytometry.

It is possible for customers to use the instruments independently after a training period. We offer you assistance with experiment planning and sample preparation if you wish. Contact us to discuss more. Welcome!

Biocenter Flow Cytometry Unit provides flow cytometry analysis services as well as user training for new users of the instruments. Access to the flow cytometers and their reservation calenders for individual users is given after a training session. Training for new users is arranged regularly.

If you wish to analyse organisms belonging to other than GMO 1 class, please contact the flow cytometry unit for more information. All users should familiarize with the classification of biological material by Finlex 921/2010 to ensure that sampels do not belong classes 2-4 as there is no possibility to analyse those with our instruments. Before starting your experiments, fill the FCM Biosafety Sheet and bring it to the flow unit.
