Esko Karvinen will defend his doctoral thesis entitled “Biogenic carbon cycling dynamics in diverse urban green spaces” at the University of Helsinki on June 16, 2026 at 12.00.
The public examination will take place in auditorium 108 (B3) at the Forest Sciences Building, University of Helsinki (Latokartanonkaari 7, Helsinki). The Opponent is Associate Professor Andreas Ibrom, Technical University of Denmark, and the Custos is professor Jaana Bäck.
