M. Sc. (Tech.) Erkka Rinne will defend his PhD thesis titled “Surface energy balance in boreal ecosystems. How mires and forests modify their local climate?” on Friday, 4th of September at 13 o’clock. Defense will take place in the Exactum auditorium CK112. The opponent is Assoc. Prof. Georg Wohlfahrt from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and the custos is Prof. Annalea Lohila from the University of Helsinki.
