Wonders of space and history of the Observatory building!

Accessible entrance to the floor for exhibitions and booked venues (unfortunately there is no accessible entrance to the towers or the planetarium) through the red garden gate on the west side of the building (the red arrow in the map). Please press A1 (or call +358 50 318 5764) to activate the gate phone and open the gate.

NB! Thank you for not using shoes with studs in the Observatory because of the old floors!

  • Adults: EUR 8
  • Pensioners, students, University of Helsinki staff, members of Ursa, conscripts, persons undergoing non-military service, the unemployed: EUR 6
  • Children from 7 to 17 years: EUR 4
  • Children under 7 years: Free admission
  • Family ticket (1–2 adults and 1–4 children): EUR 16
  • Group, min. 8 persons: EUR 7/person
  • With a Museum Card: Free admission

Bookings for guided tours:

Price (during the opening hours): 70 euros/hour/guide + entrance fees, max 20 persons/guide.
