Wonders of space and history of the Observatory building!

Open: Thu 12–20, Fri–Sat 12–16
(NB! 4 Nov 2023 open 12–16, 6 Dec and 23 Dec 2023 – 3 Jan 2024 closed.)

Address: Kopernikuksentie 1, Helsinki.

Accessible entrance to the floor for exhibitions and booked venues (unfortunately there is no accessible entrance to the towers or the planetarium) through the red garden gate on the west side of the building (the red arrow in the map). Please press A1 (or call +358 50 318 5764) to activate the gate phone and open the gate.

NB! Thank you for not using shoes with studs in the Observatory because of the old floors!

Bookings for guided tours:
(the permanent exhibition on the main floor, the current special exhibition and the towers and the planetarium)

Price (during the opening hours): 70 euros/hour/guide + entrance fees, max 20 persons/guide.
Outside of the opening hours an extra fee of 80 euros will be added.

60 euros/max 30 pupils, available time slots: Tue–Wed 9.00–10.15, 10.30–11.45, 12.15–13.30 or 13.45–15.00, Thu–Fri 9.00–10.15 or 10.30–11.45.
