The University of Helsinki's printing service will be renewed starting from october 2024

The new printing service will be tested first in the Kaisa House from October 2024.

Unigrafia and the IT Center, together with the new service provider Ricoh, will introduce the university's new Uniprint printing service. With the new service, the university's printing equipment and backend systems will be completely replaced. The new printing service will be introduced to University of Helsinki students and staff between October and December.

During October 2024, the new printing system will be tested in the Kaisa House. A new Ricoh multifunction printer can be found in the printing room 4049 on the 4th floor of the library. The new Ricoh printing devices for student use will be installed in campus libraries by the end of October. Unigrafia will inform the campuses and units of the order and more detailed schedules later.

With the introduction of the new system, the current Canon system will be phased out and will be discontinued by January 2025 at the latest. Current printing balances will be available in the Canon system until December 31. After that, balances will be transferred to the new system at the beginning of January 2025 and will be available immediately after the transfer.

Students can follow Unigrafia's updates on the renewed printing service on the Studies Service.
