RefWorks only offers institutional accounts, therefore you cannot maintain your individual account after University of Helsinki subscription ends.
How to transfer my RefWorks references to another tool?
Please make sure to transfer your RefWorks references to another tool before 28th of February 2022, if you wish to continue to use them. You cannot access your University of Helsinki RefWorks account after 28th of February 2022.
Choose a new reference management tool and import your references into the reference management tool, e.g. Zotero, EndNote and Citavi. University of Helsinki offers EndNote. Zotero and Citavi have a free version available.
You can export your references in RIS format. Download attachments (e.g. PDF files) separately.
If you use a Word plugin (RefWorks Reference Manager or Write-n-Cite) you cannot automatically switch to another reference management tool in the same Word file.
