The Library’s March events at Guidance Corner

PLEASE NOTE that upcoming events in March have been cancelled. In March the Library offers guidance on textbooks and Asian information sources and an LGBT-themed pop up.

Guidance Corner organizes guidance sessions on information retrieval for theses, the submission process for master’s theses and the use of electronic publications. The schedule for the spring term at Guidance Corner can be found at Instructions for Students. 

Guidance Corner is located on the third floor of Kaisa House, Fabianinkatu 30.

CANCELLED: Find Asia through AsiaPortal

Thursday March 19 at 12-1.30 pm 

AsiaPortal is an information resource portal for Asian studies. Resources in AsiaPortal are mostly from eastern Asia, but you can also find journals and databases from Southeast and South Asia.

Information specialists will lead you to AsiaPortal and other Asian resources, no preknowledge of AsiaPortal is required. You can pop in for a moment or stay a little longer to search for specific information. Welcome!

Come meet the members and allies of Kumpula LGBT+ community!

We will talk about our community and the activities that we organize to improve wellbeing on campus. We will also be giving out stickers, and have a display of interesting LGBT+-themed literature selected from the University Library.
