The library reminds about unpaid fees on 10 March 2025

The library sends a reminder of unpaid fees to prevent them from expiring.

On Monday, 10 March, the library will send a reminder to all Helka customers who have outstanding overdue fines. The debt expires in three years unless a reminder is sent.

It is worth noting that the reminder only applies to unpaid fees. Therefore, the loans for which payments have accrued may already have been returned. You can check your loans by logging into Helka. However, there is no rush to pay the fees, as they can be paid online or at your next visit to the library.

To pay online, you need to be logged in to Helka. You can log in to Helka using the email address to which the reminder was sent. Students and staff of the University of Helsinki log in to Helka with their university user account. You can also log in using suomi.fi identification by selecting "Cannot login?" from the login options in Helka.

When paying at library locations, please note that cash payment is only available at the main library Kaisa House. Card payment is possible at every Helka Library customer service desk.

If you have any questions regarding fees, please contact the library's customer service by e-mail library@helsinki.fi or by phone at 02941 23920.
